A Little History...

We are the Northeast Iowa Woodcarvers, a group of people interested in the art of woodcarving. Our club was founded in 1970 by a Waterloo Dentist named Dr. Glenn Miller with about 10 or 12 of his friends. Monthly meetings were held at the Waterloo Center for the Arts (formerly known as the Waterloo Recreation Center) in Waterloo, Iowa.

Beginning in 2014, we moved our meetings to NewAldeya in Cedar Falls, Iowa and started meeting year-round. Our monthly meetings to provide an opportunity for folks of all ages and skill level to meet, socialize, and share knowledge in the art of woodcarving.
